After your initial session and fitness assessment, we will have a better understanding of how to help you. Your personal training sessions will consist of goal specific exercises based on your initial evaluation.  We will schedule your training sessions at a mutually convenient time, in the setting of your choice.  Sessions typically last 60 minutes.


We train the majority of our clients in their home or office. It is very convenient for them and also saves on travel costs and time. Other clients have gyms located in their condo/apartment building or may have access to a private gym. Weather permitting, it’s also great to train outdoors at a local park or open space.


The answer is different for everyone. There are several factors to consider such as your goals, how quickly you want to achieve them, your exercise background, your schedule, and budget. On the average most clients show the best progress when they meet with a personal trainer 2-3 times per week. It will also help your progress by including cardiovascular training on the days in-between your workouts.  If you are actively participating in some sort of exercise 3-5 days per week, you will see results, PERIOD!

If you are determined to workout a minimum of 3 times per week and make some changes to your eating habits your results will be very noticeable. You will also get good results 2 times per week, but it may not be as dramatic as the process explained below. Some other important factors are age, gender, attitude, and most importantly what you learn from your trainer and how much you apply these lessons to your lifestyle.  On average, most clients on a fat loss program lose approximately 1 to 2 pounds of body fat per week and often will lose 5-15 pounds in a 10 -12 week period. Results will vary.

Sample results for a Fat loss program:

  • Weeks 1-3: Your energy level begins to improve.
  • Weeks 4-6: Your strength level increases along with your energy level.
  • Weeks 6-8: You're starting to see and feel a difference in your body shape.
  • Week’s 8-10: Fat loss is noticeable; it may be time to buy new clothes!
  • Weeks 10 and Beyond: Exercise and proper nutrition is a part of your life now. You feel great about yourself and your accomplishments and it shows!

FAQs
No! Nearly all of our in-home clients have little or no equipment and get amazing results. We have all the equipment needed for each workout. No more crowded gyms or waiting for machines. Our gym comes to you!  We will bring resistance bands, medicine balls, a stability ball, and other equipment. Of course, having some equipment is very beneficial if your budget allows for it.
